Our Story

The Wagyu South Farm is a family-owned and operated business located in North Georgia. We are not just some distributor or marketing outfit. We are personally committed to the process from start to finish. Our beef is raised, finished, processed, and packed in North Georgia.

We breed 100% full-blood Wagyu cattle. Since we began our breeding program, we continually introduce top genetics known to produce quality beef. This allows us to have a herd which represents the excellent characteristics to the Wagyu breed. When ready for finishing, they receive a strictly vegetarian, mineral-rich diet that not only provides first-rate nourishment but is also what’s behind the unmistakable flavor of every Wagyu South steak. Throughout the lifecycle, we take great pride in delivering exceptional animal care, paying close attention to our cows’ nutrition and comfort needs. We never use hormones, growth steroids or unnecessary antibiotics.
​Raising Wagyu beef is not just a job with us but is a passion. We do not raise commodity beef but instead choose to produce a specialty beef that consistently grades in the top of all beef sold in the United States. Our Wagyu beef is processed locally under USDA inspection. Additionally, our quarter cow approach means everyone can afford to have some of our specialty meat. Slow smoking Wagyu briskets, or grilling out steaks on the deck, you can enjoy our beef with your family or friends at an affordable price.
